Accessibility statement for KINTO Join

This accessibility statement applies to the KINTO Join mobile application.

This mobile app is run by Kinto Join. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the app using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the app using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the app using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the app text as simple as possible to understand.

Technical information about this app’s accessibility

Compliance status

This app is fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, the non-compliances and exemptions are listed below

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Some content is inaccessible when using a keyboard to navigate the site, such as the sections using Google Maps. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.1.1 (Keyboard).

This limitation is inherent to the Google Maps third-party component and cannot be directly remediated by us. We will adopt accessibility improvements as they become available from the vendor. In parallel, we are actively evaluating alternative providers that offer more accessible map solutions.
